Writing your Letter
Please keep your letter under 200 words.

Try to mention the "Hardrock Mining and Reclamation Act" at the beginning and end of the letter.

Mention the reason for your letter right away and stay with one or two ideas. (See Talking Points, below.)

Sending Your Letter to the Newspapers
Please email or fax your letter to all of the newspapers listed below.
Include your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.

If you email your letter, send it in the email or as an attachment and please send it in separate emails to each newspaper.

Put the words "Letter to the Editor" in the email subject line or "Letter to the Editor attached" in the body.
